I scrape my heart to see if I find
even a gram worth of emotions
Emptiness all around
Embodiment of despair.

Songs play in the background
yet I don’t hear any sound
thoughts go round and round
in an ocean of apathy I have drowned.

Feeling nauseated all the time
Tell me, God, again, what is my crime?
Neither did I wish for fortune nor fame
Neither did any land I wish to claim.

Why, oh, why, then I feel sad?
Why at myself am I so mad?
I cut my fingertip and drink a liter of potion
I scrape my heart to see if I find
even a gram worth of emotions.

Rays of the sun
at 7am fresh
kissing my cheeks,
my bones, my flesh.

Rays of the sun
lighten my my dear Rosie
I take her for a walk
her hair shine, she pants in joy,
which isn’t always easy.

Rays of the sun
woke up my lover
her pretty smile
is a sight I wanna lose never.

Rays of the sun
fill aroma in my face,
waking her up through curtain slit
I fall peacefully in her grace.

Rays of the sun
make the bushes dance
no substance they need,
at 7am they go in a trance.

Rays of the sun
a new hope in me they lay,
the reaper even looks at me,
smiles, and goes away.

Rays of the sun
oh, tell this human,
to spread wings like you do,
to embrace the doom
like you do.

The bee sting doesn’t bother me;
I shrug her off,
neither does the piercing stone on my toe,
I walk whilst bleeding.

I could care less
about anybody’s arrogant words,
you all will never feel
this high that I am having.

Sometime back I thought
being sober is a pain;
Unbeknownst, life took me
to a whole new terrain.

Ubiquitous rays of sun,
still I somehow smile,
only frown I have is
I haven’t seen you in a while.

Acid rain from nefarious clouds
still I dance over and over
I tell the droplets kissing my skin
I wish I was with her.

Your absence feels like
an alienated freefall,
I hate not knowing
the surface that lies below.

I’m counting days now
being away is a pain;
but I hope what they say is true,
Distance makes the heart grow fonder.

He said some words that he
didn’t really mean,
As is apparent
from this very scene.

He thought of the changes when
together they’ve been,
As is apparent
from this very scene.

He did take some bruises
up on his chin,
As is apparent
from this very scene.

Fed up of the fights and wars
he won’t ever win,
As is apparent
from this very scene.

His face has now turned shades of
yellow, red and green,
As is apparent
from this very scene.

Master has sinned but he
wants to come clean,
As is apparent
from this very scene.

Extremely online. I love writing; Poems, Articles. First I spend a lot of time deep in thought, then I spend a lot of time regretting the deep thoughts.
